IKO North America Features Pinnacle Roofing

We’re proud to share a special feature from IKO North America, highlighting Pinnacle Roofing’s installation of the first IKO Code Plus roof system in North America.
IKO North America sent a film crew to the Okanagan to document this project on site, featuring Victor Nielsen, Pinnacle Project Manager, Aaron Parser, who estimated the project, and Greg Portas, who oversees marketing at Pinnacle Roofing, working alongside Marc, Todd and the production team from IKO to showcase the installation and the high standards that went into this project.
Being selected by IKO North America to have our project, our team and our installation process featured across their main channels is a significant accomplishment for Pinnacle Roofing. It gives our company and our people exposure not only within the Okanagan roofing industry, but to a much broader North American roofing audience.
Pinnacle Roofing is one of a select group of IKO Craftsman Premier contractors, and we take a lot of pride in the standards we bring to every project. Having that work recognized and showcased by IKO on a North American platform is a great reflection of the entire Pinnacle team.
We’re proud to represent the Okanagan on the North American roofing stage and to show what a locally owned and operated roofing company can accomplish. At Pinnacle Roofing Ltd., the safety of our team always comes first. We conduct daily safety checks, hold toolbox meetings on recognizing the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and encourage every crew member to work at a pace they’re comfortable with. During extreme heat, many of our crews finish earlier in the day to avoid the hottest afternoon temperatures.
With more than 60 team members working in the field, keeping everyone safe is a huge responsibility – one we take very seriously. While productivity may slow during heat waves, there’s nothing more important than making sure every employee gets home safely at the end of the day.
